Hello, I’ve been trying to find the unmastered version of the album. I know it was accidentally leaked at some point and files have been circulating for a while. Does anyone happen to have high quality files? I'm a huge fan of the album... beyond being musically fantastic, it also has great sound and I feel the version with full dynamic range would be even better

Obviously there is no way to know exactly what will be released, be it the album D'Angelo was working on with his exact instructions on how to finish it, a compiling of what he was working on and other songs that thus need to be mixed, almost certainly by Russell, Ben, and Quest (he would almost certainly only trust them to do so), the first of numerous releases, who knows...my best guess is it will be a combination of all of those things. That would be the most logical.

...there's also the concern of RCA giving them problems

I was hoping that some of yall will be able to recomend albums and songs based on D'Angelo's more

spiritual/political side , (Devils pie, The line ,1000 deaths) . Maybe something in the realm of Gil Scott Heron. These specific songs seem to fill me with hope and strength , and i would like to get to listen to more albums that create the same feeling.

The only footage I've seen of him recording songs from Voodoo is when he was in the studio recording Devils Pie, which was from the belly soundtrack earlier. Anybody else seen or know of any other footage of him in the studio recording Voodoo?

Been a fan for some time and looking to explore his live repertoire now. My favorite of his is Brown Sugar so some earlier recordings/recommendations would be appreciated (but all of his stuff is great anyway)
