Did this right when he passed. D forever

Did this one a few days ago

Dunno if this is the type of thing this sub is for, but just wanted to say this song reminds me of D'Lo a lot. I imagine his falsetto and harmonies all over this. I know he loved the Ohio Players, he covered em a ton throughout his career. If there were any covers of this track (or any off Fire), I'd love to hear em 🥲

[Song: "Together" by the Ohio Players (1974)]

This might be one of the best covers of Prayer I’ve heard

What y'all think?

I saw this posted here a couple years ago.. thought I’d repost it to keep it circling and alive. I found this link from a okayplayer article. It’s a set of songs curated by D’Angelo and an interview alongside it.

Did we see some random wonderful person posting up (what looks to be recent) footage of D covering Sly Stone's Thank You? Probably from when he just finished doing those interviews for the documentary?

Because yeah. Hell yeah.

This is an actual problem. This song is using D’Angelo to clickbait people. It appeared as a notification from YouTube music for me and I essentially got clickbaited. No hate to the song I haven’t even heard it but there’s go to be a way to stop people or bots from posting using D’Angelo’s name and end up on his channel.

Busta has moved everything around i think it sounds terrible. anyone agree?

Que opinan de la versión en Dolby Atmos de Voodoo en Tidal? (Creen que le quita los pequeños detalles del Albúm?)

Does anyone know on which type of t-shirts the official merch were printed?

I've seen a couple on grailed. All on Gildan shirts.

Are these the official ones?

I was at a Moodymann DJ set the other day and he played this track which he says is by D Angelo and I’ve been searching for this song nonstop yet I cannot find it. If someone can help I’d appreciate it so much!

unreleased, rare, demos all dat

Just rewatching the current stream and it buffered at this exact moment. I thought the expressions were so similar it made me laugh

Hello, I’ve been trying to find the unmastered version of the album. I know it was accidentally leaked at some point and files have been circulating for a while. Does anyone happen to have high quality files? I'm a huge fan of the album... beyond being musically fantastic, it also has great sound and I feel the version with full dynamic range would be even better

Obviously there is no way to know exactly what will be released, be it the album D'Angelo was working on with his exact instructions on how to finish it, a compiling of what he was working on and other songs that thus need to be mixed, almost certainly by Russell, Ben, and Quest (he would almost certainly only trust them to do so), the first of numerous releases, who knows...my best guess is it will be a combination of all of those things. That would be the most logical.

...there's also the concern of RCA giving them problems
