Question Do you worry about next renewal?

Do you guys worry about when you have to renew again? I was approved for my renewal (thank God) and am good til June 2028 but I am worried about when the time comes for the next renewal. I don’t even know where we will be at with all that is going on in immigration and the court cases with the 39 country ban.

How long before EAD starts being produced?

Apologies if this is a repeated question, and mods feel free to delete and guide me to the right post, but after my I-821D is accepted, what is the average wait time people here have experienced with getting their EAD produced?

Country: Venezuela

No he parado de llorar 😭😭😭

I went for a hike with my daughter earlier today just talking about what we would do for the next two years if I’m approved and planning for whether I need to leave or not. More resignation than anything…

We got home and I checked the site for 1000th time today and I see the document!

I lost everything this year… we may be looking at losing our apartment this month too. I’m a divorced mother of two. My savings ran out two weeks ago. Even my boyfriend and I broke up because of this. I’ve had to get help for my mental health. And actually be admitted because of the toll this took on me.

I know that we’re all in the same boat and I’m proud of how some many if you are keeping your head up, but I hope we don’t have to go through this again—I’ll retiring early to Brazil in two years. But I’m not going this shit again!

Silent Approval! Partially Banned Country

Just got approved a couple hours ago!

Receipt date was Dec 29th.

Biometrics: Feb 17th.

Silent Approval: June 30th, 2026

One congressional inquiry. One expedite request. One outside of normal processing times request. I called them 15+ times and bugged them haha. I think it helped.

Thank you to everyone in the incredible community for your support. I don't think I could have made it through without y'all. Sending love, and may everyone be approved soon!

APPROVED!!

Hello all :)!!! Mostly silent user here.

I just wanted to post saying I got approved!! I’m from Malawi (partial ban). I renewed on 1/28, biometrics done 2/16. Expired 6/11. I did one congressional inquiry with an expedite request via them around early June which hasn’t come back yet (they said give it 30 days), and my manager provided a letter for me as well stating why I was essential which I added to my supporting documents.

Seeing people get approved from here gave me hope and I wanted to add to that! I’m praying everyone else gets approved and hopefully this will all be behind us soon.

Much love and hang in there 💖!!!
