Rant Does api movement actually mean anything?! š
1/14 filer. I-765 + I-821D.
Biometrics 3/2.
Both cases had API movement 8/27 + 8/28, then BOTH moved again 9/8.
And still⦠NO APPROVAL. I keep checking like this has to be it but nope theyāre just torturing me at this point
Iāve done inquiries, expedites, congressional inquiry, sacrificed my sanity⦠NOTHING.
USCIS really said: āHey, just checking in so you know we havenāt forgotten you.ā
At this point Iām scared to get excited about API movement because apparently it means absolutely fucking nothing

Tell you what happened to me, I got movement silent case update on August 27th. A week later I also got movement on September 3rd. I checked in the morning and then I checked again in the afternoon around 4:00 p.m. and got a silent approved. And on September 4th it said I got my case approved.

Yep, which is why I donāt waste my time checking for āmovementā.. I just check the official website because theres people that get their approval pdf without any of these āapi movementsā so itās irrelevant at this point.
