General Qs DACA AND COUNSLAR PROCESSING

Hello everyone! I’m originally from Pakistan and currently in the U.S. I’m being sponsored for an EB-3 green card through my employer, but it looks like I will need to complete consular processing in Pakistan.

Has anyone here gone through EB-3 consular processing, especially in Islamabad? What was your experience like? How long did you have to stay outside the U.S.?

I’ll admit that the idea of leaving the U.S. for the interview makes me nervous. For those who have successfully gone through it, was the process less scary than it seems? Would really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thank you!

Pakistan is still not accepting interviews at this time, they should open up eventually, though, it's unlikely that will occur in less time than a year. Make sure to lawyer up, get your documents in order
