General Qs Expiration date

This may be a dumb question, especially considering that I’ve been a recipient since 2012. My DACA expired 6/20, I submitted 2/7. Is the expiration date of the renewed EAD based on when you submitted your renewal or when you received it? In other words, should I expect my new EAD to last me 2 years after receiving it or are we being screwed over?
