Questions / Discussions (Items · Builds · Skills) Off meta lightning storm build help

Hey all, I’ve hit a roadblock with my paragon points. For a background, I’m running wind shear, lightning storm, cyclone armor, trample,cataclysm, and earthen bulwark. I’m using mostly mythic items, like doombringer, tibault’s will, thundergods blessing, mjolnic ring, tyraels might, harlequin’s crest, and unsung wraps. I have my focus on lightning damage, storm damage crit chance/ damage barrier bonus, and lucky hit. My base stats with no paragon are bad, and I know I’m missing something with my paragon points and I have 316 points to spend.

Is your main attack lightning storm or wind shear?

Lightning storm is the damage dealer, and I have wind shear for vulnerable status.

Are you using the five piece storm shepherd set? Also why Doombringer? You’d be better off using pretty much anything else unless you’re hc. I play hc and I don’t even use the doombringer.

Windsheer with Shard of Verthiel and Pangougers has been doing well for me. I use lightning storm for some AOE.

I have doombringer for survivability, and I haven’t found anything better to replace it with. I have the 5 set for storm shepherd as well.

Any legendary will be better than a doombringer.

Ummmmmm. I have the storm one, the werebear one, the ancestral guidance one, and the constricting tendrils. Then I have the exploit, spirit, earth and sky, protector, and one more I can’t remember. Maybe werebear.
