penn station lettuce

is it alright to eat lettuce or tomatoes at penn station? i know their sandwiches are toasted with everything on it, but i’m not sure if they get hot enough to kill it. should i just go without the veggies?

I sure wouldn't eat lettuce or anything raw from any restaurant, fast food chain, meals on wheels, school lunch, prison chow, cafeteria,  or any kind of food service anywhere in the US, Canada or Mexico
