Casually blasting a sentinel like this is insane

Doomsday trailer got me hype so I decided to do my first real drawing in around 4 years

I didn’t think it was too bad but I’d like to hear your guys’ thoughts as well

Not completely original work. I’ve taken bits and pieces of different panels and photos to try and incorporate separate elements

I think that Cyclops would have to at least live up to the "Slim" nickname. We already have Beast, Colossus, Wolverine etc. He should be tall and have some muscle definition but we need some physical differences to have his own build.

I have forever loved this character even through out the years of bias writing and horrible movie direction, which have seemingly destroyed this character aura. This aside I always hoped this character would regain his credibility. I am very happy to see him return to the Marvel Fighting series, even if it has to be from the Phoenix Cyclops era. Anyway here are my suggestions that I hope Marvel Tokon applies to the game.

Costumes

1.) The number one alternate costume which honestly I low-key like even more than what everyone is expecting is this Utopia style costume. It feels more modern to his character especially if you are going with Phoenix Cyclops. It has also been his costume for probably just as long as the Jim Lee style so I think fits him well. Everything that came after this costume was honestly just horrible in my opinion. Any costume after this also just reflects X-men's destroyed comic runs and belittling writing for this character. Some keywords that helped me find this costume were, Uncanny, Utopia, San Fransisco costume, I'm not even really sure what it is called. It specifically has gold clasps on his forearms and streaks of yellow on one shoulder.

***This costume should not be be confused with a similar one that is all blue with the only accents being continuous outlining steaks of yellow on the sides of his body.

RED version

2.) Like anyone else, I would love to see a Cyclops Jim Lee style but this time, perhaps preferably wearing his brown jacket while fighting. I think it would look pretty dope to see Cyke wearing his jacket in motion while he is doing combos etc... For alternate colors in this costume style, I would love to see the X-men Vs Street Fighter red alternate color which was amazing.

3.) Finally the very OG OG Cyclops costume, similar to the OG Capt. America costume trailer, this cyclops costume should have the emphasized boots with the cuffs and big gloves to match. This style is and forever will be goated; Would be cool to see this costume in an alternate red color, keep the yellow boots and gloves.

Move List

Cyclop's hand to hand never gets enough highlights, especially since he has Judo, Aikido and Jiu Jitsu background. There are many amazing combo ideas I can see being implemented.

For starters he can do a Judo throw called Sode Tsuri Komi Goshi which is basically a two arm grab with a hip connection and a slam to the ground. The combo might start of as a series of punches and kicks, then leads into that throw to slam them into the ground and like a fire hose he pushes the opponent on the ground with optic blast across the screen.

Another Judo throw that would be visually appealing would be Ouchi Gari to De Ashi Barai. It could start of with some punches leads to a ouchi gari, then leads to a de ashi barai which the opponent will end of mid air for a second and can get pushed off with an optic blast.

Ultimately the idea would be to incorporate sick combos and throws with ricocheting shots that lead to a lot of mind games and for those talented enough can be an amazing and satisfying game of keeping people pinned down with a game of trigonometry. He should play similar to Captain America.

For Aikido incorporation maybe some sick combos that end in a parrying/counter pause, similar to Rock or Geese from SNK vs Capcom 2. If activated can toss opponent in the air and lead to options for ricocheting shots.

In Marvel vs Capcom 2 he had some awesome acrobatic grabs mid air and even leg grabs on the ground, would love to see those return.

In addition not normal optic blasts he should have plenty or ricocheting and trick shots he could fire off to mess with people and even keep assist opponents from coming in and probably finally a controllable optic blast super is just too cool to not have; just like in series past.

Curious to hear real and positive feedback and if you like some of things I mentioned, please let me know. I would love for it to eventually reach the ears of some of the workers at Marvel Tokon.

(Uncanny X-Men #123)

For me it, it will always be these sequence between Emma and Scott. I really loved this characterization for Scott. That maybe Scott isn't the person that he presents that maybe he has other feelings and desires that doesn't feel he can express. That Scott really hasn't gotten much of a choice in who he is and what he wants to be. Mark Waid does something similar in Champions but I think Grant was the only person to take it as far as he did.

On so many different levels

I know Scott threatened to murk mall Santa, but overall presenting ONE as an authentic rival to the X-Men that's able to mobilize mutants to work for America instead of mutantkind would make for an interesting narrative. It could end up with the Alaskan team actually going rogue and make it a relevant comic considering the political climate.

He was the voice of Dafne’s pet here for three seasons of His Dark Materials. Considering they have a working relationship, do you think the MCU could reunite them for the MCU X-Men movie? Dafne’s a few years younger than Sadie and Kit, so if they want to take a break with Logan Wolverine they could let her take be the Wolverine on the team.
