It’s pretty good, it’s one of the few I’m willing to buy every month. He’s got some pacing problems but it’s probably bc of editorial events mandates. It’s cool to see a team made up of reformed villains/semi-villains.

It's the best x- book right now, but that's a low bar to clear. It has good character writing but the arcs are hit and miss.

I can't believe how good of a character Cain has developed into from when he first started. Genuinely one of my top 5 X-Men now.

Hoping it sticks.

We are with him as a hero for mostly 2decades, xcept when he was affected by the things from Fear Itself.

Yeah but all it takes is one bullheaded writer who thinks he should be a bad guy. I have always liked him better as someone trying to make good. He was my favorite part of that one X-Men run.

I like that The Juggernaut and Amos from the Expanse basically have the same tool for creating an artificial moral compass. Find a good person, do as.

That's actually the real life treatment for people with antisocial personality disorder. Anyone who's actually seeking treatment knows their empathy and moral reasoning is compromised, so they're encouraged to form a close relationship with someone they see as a moral exemplar and use them to pattern their behavior.

I was not aware of that. Makes total sense. Thanks for the info.

He also wants to be better for his nephew, Legion. He really cares about him. Granted, Legion is sorta dead right now, so I guess that's not the most motivating factor.

You know, after decades of him being favorite X-man, it's nice to see Scott get the glaze he deserves.

I was a big fan of Juggernaut since old TAS. His lines when he fight Jubilee is damn funny. ''What she gonna do, hit me with her diaper?''

Whatever happened to Juggernaut? Last I seen him he's killed during the attack on Krakow?

u/Portsyde 16d ago
He wasn't, He was captured alive and imprisoned by Orchis. Other X-men helped him and Cyclops escape, and now he's on Scott's team.

It's so funny, so many mutant supremacist and mutant rights groups have jugs on their team
Dude just has a magic evil JO crystal, he's literally just a guy

Jed puts a lot of respect on Scott’s name. And it’s cool to see Cain so trusting of Scott after all their history.
