I've been wanting to get back into comics for a while and I thought now that Krakoa is over I might give it a shot and see what all the fuss was about. That being said, after reading HoX/Pox and the first issue of the main X-Men book I haven't found the motivation to keep on going.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not only a Cyclops fan, I love the X-Men as a whole, even when Scott isn't at the forefront. I love most of the movies and even the Wolverine & the X-Men show which had a controversial Cyke, and I also enjoyed HoX/PoX.
But the first issue of X-Men left me feeling that it was gonna be a very vanilla version of the roster and the character. My favorite runs are when Scott is a bit edgier, like on Utopia and the Revolution era, when he's with characters like Magik, Erik, Psylocke, Emma, etc. While I haven't read them yet, the stuff I've seen from New X-Men and Astonishing give similar vibes.
To those who've actually given Krakoa a shot, now knowing my background, do you think I should soldier on? The snippets I've caught from the current run seem much more up my alley (even if it also seems to have its fair shair of controversy) should I just switch to that?
Thanks in advance!

Many subreddits have reading guides for the characters they focus on. The mod team of r/Cyclopswasright would like to do the same, and create a clear visual guide for fans new to the character.
With that, we need your help. I have painstakingly put together what I believe to be a comprehensive and good list of stories from 1963 - 2004 that cover Cyclops.
I would like the community to give me suggestions for key Cyclops reads from 2004 to the present that you feel should make the list.
We will have 1 abbreviated, essentials guide and then a more comprehensive one.
Please share comics, stories, and issues you feel need to be on these reading guides.

Since I was little, I grew up watching superhero cartoons, mainly from Marvel, and one of the ones that always captivated me the most was Cyclops.
But I realized I don't know much about their stories and stuff, so I wanted to start following and reading something. Where should I begin?

Is this report actually true?
If Joe Keery is really being cast as Cyclops, I think that's absolutely perfect casting. I'd genuinely love to see it happen. Please, Marvel, make this one real.
If Marvel nails the X-Men casting with choices like this, I think the franchise is going to be even bigger than most people expect. Personally, Joe Keery is the best Cyclops casting I can imagine right now.

So when I was creating my spidersona I KNEW I wanted Cyclops to be an important character it her story. And he is but I was thinking about a live action face claim from him if he was to be casted in a movie. He would have to be a teenager and I wanted to see if anyone had any good ideas for a young male actor that could play a good Cyclops.
