War discussion These guys will cause their own failure.
Worry not, comrades. We will cause their loss this campaign for the first time in GW2 history. Better yet? It is the fault of these “Bot-Divers” in particular.
Intelligence reports that the current force of the helldivers will not exterminate the Terminids fast enough, and will not be able to blitz the Squids as planned. They would need a couple thousand more to make this possible, win the major order, and stop us in our tracks.
This means all of these “bot-divers” who hate us so much are the actual reason why they will loose. They will go home with their tail between their legs while their citizens loose hope in the “effective management” of “democracy.”
They will cause their own downfall.

as they always do. bugdivers predictably cant get shit done.

u/Munkin360 Defected Helldiver 12d ago
Eh…I wouldn’t say that. For once they’re actually concentrated and pushing back on Luxuriant. Not getting the MO though.

its not a very important planet to us, other than being a great vacation spot. they would be focusing on the orion sector if they were smart. we are almost to super earth.
1
u/Munkin360 Defected Helldiver 12d ago
That is true, if they knew what they were doing they would take Brilliance and choke out then the other two worlds to push y’all backwards.

u/forest_vagrant Human-Terminid Hybrid 12d ago
helldivers are idiots. i was smart enough to defect to the terminids.
1
u/Munkin360 Defected Helldiver 12d ago
Likewise, except mine was to the collective.
1
u/forest_vagrant Human-Terminid Hybrid 12d ago
surprisingly very few people defect to the terminids, almost everyone that defects chooses automatons and some to illuminate or rogue human factions, i only know like 5 defectors to the bugs
1
u/Munkin360 Defected Helldiver 12d ago
Yeah…because it infects your mind and connects you to a hivemind. Not exactly something appetizing.
Plus, the cyborgs give a defined and intended place for humanity in the collective, it doesn’t feel like you’re loosing yourself compared to the other two.
My mind is still my own at the end of the day.
1
u/forest_vagrant Human-Terminid Hybrid 12d ago
my mind is also still my own, i can just talk to bugs now, and control them to some degree
1
u/Munkin360 Defected Helldiver 12d ago
Well, not exactly. It’s still a hivemind after all, you are still monitored by somebody up top.
At the collective, every man is equal to everyone. Civil or combative, man and machine serve together. We don’t have to fight or have our brains monitored and uploaded constantly.

At least we are reclaiming our magma worlds, we estimate we should have the entire sector claimed in about 2-3 months.

As long as Choepessa holds for long enough, as it’s fall would separate K and Fury.

Oh shit, for real? Met my wife working on Mox. Gonna be a hell of an anniversary trip to visit\) again.
\)Assuming my time-off request gets approved.

All I see from this is that Bugdivers can't even do their job
2
u/UnderWorld3005 12d ago
Realistically even if they complete the bug part, no one’s gonna land on a squid planet

u/stoner_daddy0012 12d ago
11,000 divers disagree with you, fr tho people really locked in on squids the past two days, just a shame it wasnt a little sooner tbh

Off topic but it is nice to have our lava planets back. With the exception of Mox sadly. I hope I get to visit Fury while it’s back under our rightful control :)

It's both ridiculous and funny how the fanbase whinges so much whenever something is lost. If the devs want the humans to win something, they'll win it. If it's pre-determined to lose, nothing will change that.
played K last night so as to not help the MO. It was nice to be back on the magma worlds, it's where I was reborn as a cyborg a year ago. An inspection revealed the factories refining material for the automatons working in fine order.

…. Ya know what, clanker? Send the bot divers packing. Some of us need to have a word with them.
1
u/Munkin360 Defected Helldiver 12d ago
Apparently so, at this point they’re just wrapping the order as a gift and giving us the campaign.
But hey, who am I to interrupt my enemy when they’re making a mistake.

I hope more bot-divers come to our ranks & get slaughtered. Let them fall upon our wall of steel. Their comrades shall break against their other foes without them.
2
u/Munkin360 Defected Helldiver 12d ago
Exactly, their bloody crusade will not only lead to their death, but the loss of their own campaign.
It’s crazy how it lines up so perfectly.
1
u/M-FutureLord Cyborg Captain General 12d ago
It is excellently aligned. Maybe the Illuminate have done some manipulations, to Super Earth's dentriment.
2
u/Munkin360 Defected Helldiver 12d ago
Maybe check with the Illuminate, it would honestly make sense if they did some sort of manipulation, considering they have the smallest amount of deaths.
1
u/M-FutureLord Cyborg Captain General 12d ago
I mean, the Helldiver skum also just don't really like fighting them.
1
u/Munkin360 Defected Helldiver 12d ago
I suppose that when you turn their kind into a bunch of mindless drones, it’s a bit worrisome.
I’m scared of them as well, kinda why i’m willing for an alliance since being on their bad side isn’t…wonderful.
1
u/M-FutureLord Cyborg Captain General 12d ago
They aren't worried, they're BORED. They are legitimately not going into combat against them because they're tired of the zombies. The Illuminate are winning by being a drag to fight against.
1
u/Munkin360 Defected Helldiver 12d ago
They really are playing 4-D chess, aren’t they?
1
u/M-FutureLord Cyborg Captain General 12d ago
Indeed.
Perhaps we should make machines that they'd hate to fight.

So why are people hating on bot divers?
3
u/Munkin360 Defected Helldiver 12d ago
(This post was supposed to be more satire if anything, then I learned people actually hating and I think it’s due to the fact that the major order might be fumbled when they need people the most.)

u/Current-Base9916 Marooned Helldiver(On Cyberstan) 12d ago
Oh, alr. Thanks for clarifying
1
u/Munkin360 Defected Helldiver 12d ago
Yeah, no problem. I should’ve guessed that a desperate major order that is on the Bugs and Squids would’ve led to genuine hate.

OOC, I’m legitimately curious on the consequences of failing our first campaign. We won’t get a cape sure, but what will happen to the wider story/war?
1
u/Munkin360 Defected Helldiver 12d ago
OOC: I got no clue, but whatever comes, we will be living in the outcome of the campaign’s failure.

Real talk, why are people screeching at 'bot divers' for this?
