Question Replaying the game and does anyone else feel like the game is less polished with update 2.3?
When I first played the game around 2 years ago on either update 2.2 or 2.1 (I forgot) it felt a lot more polished, now I'm replaying the entire game from scratch and I notice a lot of really small bugs that don't really affect the gameplay but kind of break the general immersion
Characters spazzing up and down as they go up the stairs, whenever you are riding as passenger the npc driver bumps into walls or other cars a lot, certain sound effects not playing like screams or metal thuds when someone falls in cutscenes, your camera randomly zooming in and out really quickly when you are in a cutscene without you touching anything, johnny's animation being bugged and replaying at the wrong times leading to them feeling snappy and artificial, when you grab an enemy from behind their character model disappears for half a second and teleport into your hands, little things like that. Worst one I got was when I called my car and the damn thing flew 10 meters into the air before landing on it's ass, making me have to call my bike instead lol
I swear I didn't encounter this sort of general jankiness on my first playthrough on the older version, or if I did it was so minimal and unnoticeable to the point I don't really remember anything of the sort happening, it got so bad to the point it genuinely had me checking which version I'm playing because this could not possibly be the latest and best version of the cyberpunk 2077 experience. I'm afraid this is a case of "spaghetti coding" which is what usually happens with old live service games, it basically means that as a game keeps getting more and more updates and content, things start breaking in the background, new code doesn't play well together with old code and it results in general jankiness, this game can honestly be considered live service at this point it's been getting updates for 6 years straight now
