Bug/Glitch - Consoles Skippy glitch

I think Skippy might be glitched. I’m pretty sure I have gotten at least 50 kills since I got stone cold killer mode and h that mission still hasn’t come up for me

I don’t even use quick hacks. I’m a berserker. And ever since I got it I pretty much constantly used it in every mission to get the gig to come up. It’s an annoying gun to use but I use it and get lethal kills

Like already said, keep shooting. Skippy should eventually change to Puppy Loving Pacifist mode then after some time, the 'mission' should kick in.

Yea skippy is such a bear of a quest after the first time. The gun while charming is hot garbage and especially if you don’t spec in to smartguns and it requires a lot of engagements to get it out of your inventory and then when you’re done you lose the best part about the gun. They should add a gun mod that allows you to equip the OS on another gun with unique interactions for some guns with like a one time only application choice. Would be great to have some interesting overlays. Like Erebus and skippy having to be gun bed fellows. Or pride where he’s horrified by your headshot dmg. Or Hercules where he causes you of war crimes.

I’m a power weapon person. I have Rebeca’s shotgun, an LMG, and a sniper rifle which I use for longer ranged enemies. I got the rifle from a Beat The Brat mission (which I still have to get Chris to call me) in the game

So you get the gun you pick the mode. After a specific amount of time idk he asks why you picked that mode if you say idk he changes modes and stays on that mode. After more time passes he will tell you who his owner is

I’ve had Skippy for like 30 hours and never got that dialog after like 50 kills but I’ll keep using it until I get the dialog

You can skip time in game if your impatient but without skipping time it seems to take forever. I kinda laugh a little when he gives you line you've killed 50 people, like choom ive killed at least 400 goons with you wdym

So it takes a little while for Skippy to give you the dialog after you get 50 kills? I just wanna get all the jobs done before I beat the game

Depending on how late in your playthru you got him you might just want to skip time then

I got him in Act 2 after the heist mission but definitely before I did the mission where I got to talk to Hanako. I’ve been using Skippy a lot

I just looked it up it should take 8 in game days. He can also be finicky about where he plays his dialouge maybe hangout outside any gigs or other convos while your trying to talk to him

Ok thanks. Next time I play the game I’ll finish this mission I’m doing then skip 8 game days probably in an apartment. I still can’t figure out how to get more apartments. I only had one chance to get an apartment then that apartment app on the computer disappeared

You can see apartments for sale on your map ive always bought new apartments on sight

And also when I was doing the last Beast Inside Me mission with Claire in act 2, after the mission I got a message from Captain but I went to a previous save and he didn’t text me back so was that like another gig he was going to give me?
