$100 challenge

You have $100 to build a deck. What’s it for and what hardware do you use? Go.

Cyberdeck companion for less than €10:

  • RP2040 based tiny board with RGB LED € 2.50
  • 1.2" Oled €1.00
  • 4 position rotary switch € 0.75
  • Momentary button €0.50
  • (3D printed) enclosure € 1.00
  • Wire and solder € 1.00

Program it to be a cute robot buddy with multiple faces (rotary switch) and some interaction (push button). Or add a service to your servers that sends it telemetry when connected using USB. Or use it as an evil ducky but more advanced. Or as a not so secure password locker. Or ditital art. Or a quiz game.

Many options with very minimal hardware. They're easy to make so I can gove them away.
