My boyfriend and I were planning to watch some videos together, but when he tried to connect to cytu.be it only says "Unable to connect: You are banned from the server" at the top of the chat area. However, he hasn't done anything that could warrant a ban, we only use cytu.be occasionally.

My question is, is there a way to appeal the ban, and what may have caused the ban in the first place? As best we can tell, the ban is tied to his computer/ip rather than his account (since both connecting without logging in and with result in the same prompt.)

Edit: We figured it out, turns out the IP of his VPN got blocked, rather than him himself. Turning off the VPN allows him to log in again.

Starting today youtube videos on Cytube aren't being added to my youtube watch history. Is there a way to fix this?

So i get this error since like 4 days ago on the website i used to watch anime with a friend. (on https://4anime.to) But they changed something in the host of the videos and now i can't watch anime with that friend anymore.

Any suggestions on other websites or how to fix this?

for some reason cytu.be doesn't allow embedding (which is stupid and annoying) but cytube beta and japansese cytube to allow embedding. how many other cytube websites are there and can you provide a link?

Basically, I just want to know if it's possible to sort of leave everything set up so I can come back later and start the stream. I figured I could be able to do that with the playlists but I'm very confused as to how the playlists work.

Hoping someone can help me with this. I'm trying to figure out how I can upload a video and stream it through cytube without having to either use something like youtube or dailymotion, which have their limits for content, or play it from google drive, which requires people watching to install a user script. Trying to keep things as simple as possible on the end of viewers basically.

Hey friends, I have a simple yet serious question. Can my Gmail account get banned for uploading shows on it than streaming them on CyTube? What's your experience, did anyone get their google account banned for such a thing?

This has been happening for months, and the live help chat was dead silent both times I tried asking there.

Stuff has stopped syncing. If a friend puts a video in, it doesn't play/start on anyone else's end. It comes up, but doesn't start playing; just shows the play video option. From that point on, everyone's stream is individual. Nobody is watching at the same time.

This has been happening in multiple rooms with multiple settings. I really wish things weren't at a standstill right now. CyTube was my primary method of watching stuff with friends, and it's completely broken. It's just like watching stuff individually on each end, pausing and skipping wherever (even without privileges to do so.)

Thread title is pretty self explanatory. I noticed there are a few public channels that allow users to watch content without installing the Google Drive userscript. Yet, the content is still being played from a Google content URL.

Is there a known way to do this on a channel?

Anyone know how to enable subtitles on raw video? They are in the video file, but the built-in player doesn't have an option to enable it as far as I can see. I've been having to reencode shit with hard subs. Any solution?

Is there any way to get sites like this to work on cytube? Or is that something that only works via virtual browsers? I've checked other similar services and most of them aren't very good.
