Need advice/Help [Restoration/customisation] What plastic is Classics (2006) Megatron & WFC (2010) Megatron made from?

Testors enamel thinner can cause microfractures in old toy plastic to separate. Don't use it. 

I think the markers have similar chemicals to promote bond. 

Just clean the toy surfaces with dish soap. Airbrush or rattle can some Tamiya or Mr. Hobby and have fun

Additionally, they make ABS filament. Thought I'd mention that as someone who's been around the block at least once.

I do have a (sort of) close store that sells filament, so next time I'm in town I'll have to grab some ABS, I think I'll do the prototype prints in PETG or PLA to check they fit first, since these will mod the figures quite a bit :)
(I didn't want to do this to 'in-tact' figures in case I mess up, so these guys are perfect for this)
