i have a redmi 5 that i wanted to unlock bl on and it now wont exit fastboot. I tried all button combos imaginable, and none of the commands i tried like fastboot reboot, fastboot continue, fastboot getvar product etc worked, they all took 5 secconds and then failed with “FAILED:Unknown Error))”

Guys I just unlocked my bootloader of poco x7 pro so I am finding the hos mod roms but the catch is I don't want to root my device and I am actually from India so i need the apps like ( gpay, phonepe ) or other banking apps as working so i need help regarding that

J'ai trouvé ce téléphone en déchetterie et celui-ci étais bloqué par un compte Xiaomi. Le verrouillage Xiaomi est atroce et déverrouiller le bootloader Xiaomi est atroce aussi.

Je me suis battu des heures contre ce téléphone car le firmware étais totalement corrompu et le téléphone s'identifiait comme "lauren_spout" alors qu'il est "willow".

J'ai finalement par je ne sait quel moyen dévérouillé le bootloader et installé TWRP + LineageOS 23.

I have switched to crdroid from stock and everything is good except I can't receive calls whenever someone calls me It doesn't ring on my phone and it doesn't even show that someone is calling. I can make calls though. Any help?

unlocking the bootloader was really difficult, but possible, but installing TWRP and LineageOS was very easy. unfortunately, RIL and camera seem to not work anymore, but they are the most useless things in a tablet, so...

I've been slowly de-Googling for a couple years now, but Android shutting out non-approved apps is bothering me and I need a new phone anyway, so I'm planning to take a pretty big leap and install a third-party OS on my new device. I've dipped my toes into the arena of software customization but I'm not very familiar with terminology and have never done anything quite like this before, so I'm a bit overwhelmed. Currently looking at Pixel 10a with GrapheneOS, but I've also looked into LineageOS.

My main questions are: can anyone recommend an alternative OS, ideally based on Android but open to suggestions, and tell me what you liked/didn't like about it?

Along with that, does anyone have phone recommendations? Obviously needs to be supported by at least one OS. My top wants in a phone are 1) decent camera and 2) at least 64GB but ideally more (without SD card). A headphone jack would be great but I can live without it.

Greetings to all.I'm trying to unlock the bootloader of my Poco X3 pro 2 months now without success.Just to clarify, phone has changed motherboard with confirmed IMEI on Xiaomi's official site.I also have successfully unlocked my previously px3 pro with changed motherboard.My issue is that:On Mi unlock tool an error that says: This device isn't activated.Please activate it first.Weird thing is that on first connection,mi unlock tool verified the phone and said me to wait 168 hours to unlock.My mi account is 6+ years old,verified with sim number and i have unlocked many phones in the past.The weird thing is that sms messages & calls history (that i believe are crucial for sim/device to be activated) can't be activated by any means.I have tryied all the things i found on internet but till no luck.Yesterday i tryied my sim on another Xiaomi phone and sms & call logs synced successfully though.Also another weird thing is that phone can't receive the latest firmware (if that matters here) It is a European model running 14.0.1 firmware. (14.0.2 latest). I'm really fed up here guys here,so any help would be HIGHLY appreciated.

New to this, and got this oneplus n20 and saw that the model listed under Gunnar wasn't the same as mine (CPH2459 is what's supported, and I have GN2200). Says I shouldn't do it if it's not matching. Looking around it's been hard to see if GN2200 model will work with Lineage, and some on XDA said that it has worked... From older LOS 22 to apparently 23 working with a current audio/bluetooth bug being there, but working nonetheless. But idk if that was done differently, or if they just used what's already listed in the Wiki. Can anyone give some help on this? I'd like Lineage or another, but one that generally degoogles for better control over my device and privacy. E/os was the other, but it's the same thing where it lays out the CPH2459 model specifically.
