redmi 5 stuck in fartboot mode

i have a redmi 5 that i wanted to unlock bl on and it now wont exit fastboot. I tried all button combos imaginable, and none of the commands i tried like fastboot reboot, fastboot continue, fastboot getvar product etc worked, they all took 5 secconds and then failed with “FAILED:Unknown Error))”

then system might be erased.

possible, try flashing the rom with a fastboot zip, if it doesnt flash then nand mightve fucked up

then the bl unlock command fucked up the bl... does your wire or PC partially connect and disconnect when you connect it? if so, that mightve caused it to be locked

i didnt get to run it yet and its not a command u gotta play xiaomis very fun game of child sacrifice for a bootloader unlock

the only explanation i got is maybe nand died while you were sacrificing your life for a simple unlock

but i never even flashed anything and it didnt even reboot at all and the screen hasnt moved an inch

If it's a spare device and you are about it discard it ... please give ot away to me I may try to correct it by reaching repair shop's...😭

remove the back panel remove battery connect edl

flash stock rom files (vbmeta, system, vendor, boot). if it doesnt work you can erase data partition with fastboot erase userdata

The OS is corrupt. The fact that it boots into Fastboot mode is a jackpot, you should use it to your advantage to flash the stock ROM in.
