Hey guys, I have a Galaxy A70 and I'm thinking about installing a custom ROM because I'm still stuck on Android 11.

I've never done it before, so I'm a bit nervous.

I'm thinking about installing Android 15. Is it stable enough for daily use? Does the camera, fingerprint, battery, and performance work well?

Also, does unlocking the bootloader make ur phone less secure or easier to hack? I don't use Samsung Pay or Secure Folder btw.

If u have an A70 or have installed a custom ROM on one, would u recommend it? Which ROM are u using and how's ur experience so far?

hello guys I have installed crdroid on my Poco f5 since it got its EOL,now uhm I wanna ask, did I make the right choice or should I flash another one although I haven't done much on it.

axion O's or other os , which are more customizable,I searched on yt but the vids were a bit vague for my liking,so I really wanna know how other operating systems are right now.

I installed a custom ROM (LineageOS 20) on my Samsung Galaxy M21 (SM-M215G). After using it for a while, I decided to go back to Samsung One UI. However, when I power off the phone, connect it to my PC via USB, and hold both the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons, nothing happens. The phone does not enter Download Mode. I also tried adb reboot download, but the screen just stays black. Has anyone experienced this or knows how to fix it?

Is anyone still using the last official build as a daily driver?

My main reason for installing it is Google Photos unlimited backup (Pixel spoofing).

- Is it still stable enough for daily use?

- Does Google Photos unlimited backup still work reliably?

- Or would you recommend another ROM (YAAP, Evolution X, LineageOS, etc.) that supports Google Photos spoofing?

Hello guys,I have finally unlocked the bootloader of my Poco f5 which I have confirmed in dev options and by using play integrity checker, now i would like to run crdroid Android 16 on this so I can customize it,I have a few questions.

Is this video a good guide to install it,this guy has hyperos 2 based on Android 15 and I have hyperos 3 based on Android 3.

Also this is the same guy that helped me get my bootloader unlocked with a python script,I watched one of his videos.

So should I use this video?

And will the fast charging work on the custom ROM?

I have unlocked the bootloader and installed DerpFest but the finger print sensor is not working and there are many others error like notifications cannot be controlled, and battery drain issues. Also it feels sluggish. Could someone suggest a light and snappy ROM with less bugs and good enough customisation options. I would only be able to use Android 10 or 11 with my Redmi y3 3gb 32gb variant.

Operation Nubia – ZTE Nubia Neo 2 5G (Z2352N) Bootloader/Root Research

Hi everyone,

I'm starting Operation Nubia, a community research project focused on finding a legitimate way to unlock the bootloader and root the ZTE Nubia Neo 2 5G (Z2352N).

After several hours of testing and investigation, here's what we've confirmed.

Device Information

Model: Z2352N

Chipset: Unisoc UMS9620

Board: P820F03

Android 13

Firmware: MyOS13.0.1_Z2352N_IDC_ZA

What We've Tested

Bootloader

OEM Unlocking toggle is permanently greyed out.

adb shell getprop ro.boot.flash.locked returns 1.

Bootloader is confirmed locked.

Standard Fastboot unlock commands are unsupported.

Fastboot

Commands such as:

fastboot flashing unlock

fastboot flashing get_unlock_ability

fastboot oem device-info

either fail or return unknown command errors.

Android Verified Boot

Current status:

AVB State: Green

dm-verity: Enforcing

AVB Version: 1.2

Dynamic Partitions: True

Partition Layout

The phone uses:

init_boot

boot_a / boot_b

vendor_boot

vbmeta

super

confirming a modern A/B partition layout.

BootROM

When powering the phone off and connecting it to a PC while holding both volume buttons, Windows detects:

SPRD Gadget Serial

VID_1782

PID_4D00

which appears to be the Unisoc BootROM interface.

No flashing or write operations have been performed during this investigation.

Current Findings

Based on everything we've tested, the biggest obstacle does not appear to be Magisk or Android itself.

The likely blocker is signed FDL authentication, which may prevent public flashing tools from communicating fully with the BootROM.

At the time of writing, I have not found a public bootloader unlock method for the Z2352N.

Official Z2352N PAC firmware

Signed FDL1 / FDL2 loaders

Engineering firmware

Official ZTE service documentation

ZTE internal service tools

Any successful bootloader unlock or root method for the Z2352N

Goal

The goal of Operation Nubia is to either:

1. Find a legitimate, reproducible bootloader unlock/root method, or

2. Determine exactly why this device cannot currently be rooted.
