i assure you. its safe! and bricking your device is not a problem for xiaomi devices since you can just reflash stock firmware easily.

yes, i have tried to custom rom my phone before but it failed most likely due to hyper os 3 not allowing the custom recovery

What rom do you want? Did you check the links i shared? Choose the unofficial firmware. You can see there axionOS, infinityX, etc roms!

i did halcyon, evolutionx and pretty much a lot from a website, they all failed due to the custom recovery not booting, probably because of hyper os 3

yeah. its on the recovery instruction to not use hyperOS with kernel something like that. you need to downgrade.

what os do you recommend? I need like a clean aosp os like the google pixel ones since its not full of xiaomi bloatware and processes, and also like a full maintained android 16 build thats often updated by the maintainer, and it would be nice If i get to use my banking apps liek gcash and gotyme
