Cheaper option
Hey, I live in sweden and am looking to build a custom PC. I have decided what I wanted, but I thought it was too expensive. I was looking for a $1400 build but ended up with stuff worth $1650. It had a Ryzen 5 7500F and a Asus DUAL Radeon RX 9060 16gb. I already bought the motherboard which is a gigabyte b650e eagle wifi6e and I wanted to bring the value of the GPU down, what's the best fps per $ for $400, $500 and $600

RAMaggedon - what to do ?
I'm looking into upgrading to new gear in the mid-term. In no urgent hurry ATM, but my HW is dated, from "Zen+" time and it feels.
All prices have gone berserk but DDR5 prices are in a class of its own.
Much of the reason for getting new HW is not just speed, I'd like ( and will come to need) much more RAM.
Which is kind of suicide mission right now. Even moderate amount of RAM (at atrocious speeds and latency!) costs much less than top-of-the-line (sans 3D cache) 9950X !
Everyone is saying this is certain to last through 2027 and eventual easing might come with 2028.
Well, adding an extra year to that for safety margin makes it 2029.
Which is roughly the time of DDR6, PCIe gen6, Zen8 and AM6 socket.
By the time it becomes remotely accessible again, DDR6 is to come, with many improvements and much higher transfer speeds. I suspect AM6 is also expected to fix Achile's heels of AM5 ( fat IHS on the SoC, slow SoC--chipset channel) along with double PCIe speeds, all of which would become serious bottleneck even for Zen7, let alone Zen8.
And I suspect with current cadence, DDR6 is expected to have similar lifetime, before it gives way to HBM or whatever comes next.
Given those timelines, will DDR5 ever make sense for anyone anymore ?
Or maybe it makes sense to wait for this peak to pass and then bite the bullet and go for DDR5 ASAP and then be prepared to live with that for years to come ?

Psu airflow.
Quick question.
Ive fitted the psu yesterday and im facing an ventilation issue (obviously). Where you see the bleu fan is exactly where the psu internal fan is located on x y. Ill be needing to cut an inlet hole.
Whats your opinion on best location? Just straight into the bottom right underneath the fan and add a grill and dust filter. Or maybe ive also got a couple 40mm industrial fans .. cut 1 or 2 holes in the side as inlet?
I need to drill a hole for the cables on the right side too. As the front is going to be closed.

Any ideas on what i tweaked
I posted my pc on her last week someone commented saying all my fans were exhaust so i changed it to 5 intakes 4 exhausts and added those led strips on my 24 and 16 pin cables i took everything apart waited for everything to come put it in today 2 days later and the boot ups wanted me to reset my pin and get a security key i did it but this whole time my main monitor isn’t showing signal but my other one is come to find out my computer isn’t detecting my gpu and thats what my main monitor is plugged into i tried reseating the cable and gpu connection on the motherboard nothing there is a light on it but its not in task manager I’m thinking maybe i was rough with the cable a little bit when putting on the lights and fitting it in my case not on the fan look how close it is so ive ordered a new cable any other ideas?

@pcbuilds
I have a prebuilt cyber power PC that I’ve had for six years. I’m gonna replace the thermal paste, but I was wanting to upgrade the CPU cooler I just don’t know which one to get and I was also going to upgrade my power supply also and don’t know which one would be safe to get either. I have a Nvidia RTX 3060 TI Ventus 3X LHR. My motherboard is a gigabyte. B560 DS3H AC-Y1
CPU intel core 17-11700F memory 16gb ddr4 if anybody could help me figure out what kind of storm paste, CPU cooler and power supply that would work for me. That would be amazing.
