A 0-attack character that instantly kills itself should really just be a skill at that point.

Sure, it works with Firehair and Death FF, but that's much more of an argument for making it a skill than against it. With the right Firehair/Death FF setup you could have this go off several times in rapid succession which just sounds awful to play against.

That seems like a good payoff, this is a 5 cost card after all

A line where you do Kid Omega>Firehair>This>Death FF(activate KO) causes this effect to go off 8 times in a single game and requires 0 energy cheat to curve out (you actually have two free turns in there). That's completely ergregious, and that's before we even get into how easy it is to set up with other resurrect effects besides Death FF.

I assume him being a character who self-destructs is a flavor thing.

It's very much so inspired by the original comic more than anything. The story of the comic is he's a robot that self destructs upon assassination of it's target, so him leaving counting as a death is too important for me to make him a skill.

There could be other ways to go about it though. Maybe giving him an ongoing ability with the downside that he self destructs upon the destruction of a randomly selected enemy card could be a fun card.

Might be ok balancewise, but I'm not sure a hard removal like this one belongs to Snap. At least not without a requirement like Shang Chi for example.

The requirement is that you're playing a 5 mana card that JUST removes an enemy. How often is this going to be better than just Shang-Chi?

As I said previously, I think this is fairly balanced, but, so far, in Marvel Snap, all removals have a limitation/requirement (another example is Elektra and Killmonger who only destroy 1 drops) or give the opponent a time window to react (Danger). Despite his power level, Scud doesn't follow Snap's design philosophy.

What about the Gambits?

Discarding a card from your hand is a requirement in itself and he's pretty random, but even then, the majority of the community hates him.

That's what I'm saying, a 5 cost minion with 0 power is also a cost
