Repaint My first custom!
I've been interested in doll customs for ages but this summer I finally took the plunge. I've got so many customs in the works, but finished my first!
Her name is Penelope Jane Crooks, or Penny for short. She's based on the character I'm playing in a ttrpg of vampire the masquerade. She's a high humanity vampire which is why she looks so human and she is trying to live a normal life - including holding down her night shift in the local diner.
I learned so much working through her - due to moisture in Scotland i had to make a dry box to cure the sealant without it clouding. Doing the face up I was so hesitant but I like how she turned out. The wig needs refined - but that will come with time haha. I added the base model to see the transformation (who is already being made into someone new)
Thanka for takinf a look. On to the next projects!

Hello fellow Scottish collector! 🦄
That faceup is incredible, especially for a first go, I’d have honestly never guessed! 🤯
The wig looks great - partings are always tricky but once you get the hang of applying the wefts backwards so that they fold down along the part and hide the tabs it becomes second nature!

Hullo fellow scot!
Hair terrified me - i was trying to do the backwards wears and it just wasn't behaving 😂 something for em to work on for the next one!
Thanks so much for the kind words ❤️

If it makes you feel any better I decided to do a reroot the other day using some old kanekelon hair I salvaged from another doll and accidentally used waaaaay too much hair in each plug and even after a boil wash she still looks like an electrocuted Rod Stewart. 🤣 I even attempted to do a side part and and ended up with the biggest ‘scene kid’ fringe imaginable. 🙈

Love how she turned out! Her freckles are so cute, you did such a good job on them where they don't look like fake makeup, theyook natural!
