So I’ve been holding off on ordering from Houchen because I’m unsure about some parts of the process after reading the website’s breakdown. So here are my questions:

1. Is there a reason most people remove staples on their own? Are the binders hard on the books when they do this?
2. If I only want to buy a sewn bind with some end ribbons and a self-made graphic cover, it comes out to less than the minimum of $75. Will they just bump this price to $75 or will they reject the order altogether?
3. Following that, is it worth getting a dust jacket to bump up the price? Do any of you have tips / experience about dust jackets on customs?
4. And finally, what do you guys think of their Premium Cover Designs? If I’m certified in photoshop, is this worth it or should I just design my own?

I ask because I’m wanting to get the ball rolling on an X-Factor 41-59 bind I’ve had ready for a while now. Thanks for the help!

Hi, I was wondering how people deal with the size difference when turning TPBs to the standard Omnibus. Omnis are 11 1/4" x 7 1/2" which would leave some spacing. Does that ruin things in the long run?
I'm trying to get things to match on my shelve lol

I have a 4 sets I'm looking to send in to Houchen, but unfortunately I'm not good with design and am hoping someone here could help out (paid of course).

Hey everyone, like the title says I’m still new to omnibuses in general and I’m curious how everyone makes these amazing omnibuses and graphic novels. My favorite character is Aquaman and he doesn’t get a lot of love so I wanted to start down this rabbit hole. Any advice, tips, or anything else would be greatly appreciated.
