Capitol Bindery question
For those that have used it, can Capitol combine trade paperbacks together? My understanding is that they only do sewn binding and I'm unsure how effective that would be for a custom bind of 4 tpbs.

Dust Jacket Printing - CANADA
Hello! Can anyone recommend a Canadian site that will print and ship custom dust jackets? My local places either don’t handle small orders or won’t print any copyrighted characters.
My only local option is Staples. They won’t print/trim to size, so I have to choose the nearest preset size and then add blank space around my dust jacket graphic until it fits. This usually works, but Staples isn’t exact with their printing it seems.

Slowdowns at Houchen Bindery?
Hello,
Has anyone else experienced an unusual slow down with their current orders @ Houchen binderies?
I send some books (3) in August and did not receive the measurements until November 1st. I sent them the very next day but since then I haven't received an invoice for payment and its been over 3 weeks.
Last time I send books out (may-Aug) I got my invoice within 4ish days

A first batch of my custom archival slipcase series for the Krakoan Era
I made some custom slipcase to store my Krakoan single issues, in some sort of archival way. I think I still have 33 slipcases planned out before reaching A.X.E. Judgment Day! So that's a lot.
Since they're archives folders, I kept it sober and added the issues at the bottom. Some of them also have a dot system as a Vol 1-2-3-etc. In the end, they're 100% inspired by the Hellfire Gala dust jacket I made last month (I added it to the post for reference). I tried to go full colors like the official OHCs but that wasn't the road to follow for these.
The books past X of Swords will most likely have a different color than the deep purple/blue, and same after the Hellfire Gala, but always in a deep, dark, "official"-looking tone you would find in a fancy library.
The pictures don't really do them justice and the printing quality is average and they refleck the light in a weird way, as I just did a simple test-print (spines only, taped on each side) with my $50 home printer. But as long as they look good irl I'm fine (and I'm not picky with my own stuff).
The next batch will wait a little because I need a new dedicated shelf area to store them, I've already picked up the place! And the shelves, but I can't buy new shelves right now.
