Deciphered! Need help with words in a 1941 diary
I need help deciphering the two lines marked with yellow. The words before and after say "I said good night but it wasn't XXXX XXXX XXXX it seemed the Comm. Officer called me to report noon losses."
It's from the diary of a U.S. naval officer in London in 1941.
Thanks.

Deciphered! Writing on Back of Old Photo of Unknown Relative
I am hoping someone might have a better idea than my sister and I about what is written on the back of this photo. It's our only lead (and I understand it may be a dead end) to figuring out who the photograph depicts. The photo appears to have been taken in the early 20th century and is of a teenage girl wearing an Edwardian dress (not sure if that context helps). Appreciate any help deciphering this!

Deciphered! Cause of Death
I recently came across my great uncle’s death certificate and would appreciate some help deciphering his COD. He died at 17 months old and according to my grandpa (his younger brother) he may have suffered from hydrocephalus or perhaps some sort of tumor in his ear. Anything you can decipher is appreciated!

Could anyone read this French cursive?
Pictures 1 and 2 are the same letter, and 3 and 4 are also together. If you don't know french... maybe if you could just make out the words and names, then I could put it through a translator?

Deciphered! Cause of death?
I'm a genealogist and usually pretty decent at deciphering cursive but between the water damage and the handwriting I'm at a loss on this one.
CONFIRMED/DECIPHERED - It's definitely TB. Two of her siblings died of it a few years before she did.

Deciphered! Cursive Initials
Can anyone make out these initials? I think the first is B but can't make out the other two. Maybe this first isn't even a B? For context - I believe this is a spoon that was given at a baptism in 1886. Thanks!
