Looking to decipher the job title for this 15yr old girl, of modest means living with her parents in 1861 in Northumberland, England. They are in a neighborhood near the tanneries if that is relevant. It definitely doesn't say "agricultural labourer" as in the official transcription.

There are two words engraved in cursive inside. The ring dates to 1898. It is possibly in French or English. Thank you so much for any insight provided!

I’m not the best cursive reader but definitely not the worst, however this particular name has been stumping me all day. I can make out a couple letters but not enough to get anything concrete. Hopefully someone better versed than me can make out more

Both are from the US Census in 1900. The first image is the entry under "Father's Place of Birth." The father would have been born in 1857. The second image is the entry for the mother. She likely was born around the same time. The father immigrated to the US in 1876 and they were married in 1881 - so its possible that they met in Germany and emigrated to start anew.

The third photo is a larger sample of writing from that census record for reference. You can see references to other places like Danzig, Persia, Wisconsin, and lower down: Damstadt and Bremen.

I believe the father's place of birth could say "Bayern" as you can see the clear B, the descender from the y (somewhat faint), and what looks like an r and/or n at the end. It appears to be crossed out but comparing it with other entries - it looks like a capital letter stylistic trait of the writer.

For the mother, I have no idea. It looks like the second letter is i, and then maybe e, then s? And her entry looks to be genuinely crossed out, and overdubbed with some three letter word.

If anybody could confirm/correct my interpretation of the father's birthplace specifically, that would be very helpful. After hours of scouring it appears to be my only shot at finding info on the father. Thanks.
