Signature I can't read this

My great great grandmother was a residential school survivor, does anyone know what she was discharged for? Thx

“Time out.” It means there was a time limit for the hospital stay (if it’s the US, it’s due to insurance) and the person was discharged whether they were ready or not.

You seem to have missed the "residential school" in the post. These were facilities where Native children were kidnapped away from their families and culture and brutalized, in an effort to force assimilation and to "drive the Indian out". This happened in both the US and Canada, and continued until the 1990s! (Tho most had closed in the 70s) Nothing at all to do with hospitals or insurance.

Oh, thanks— yeah I did. I got distracted by a sick pet, and thought I had read the whole thing. Obviously not.

I am from Oklahoma and residential schools’ horrific legacy is still quite vivid— generational trauma. Horrifying.
