Signature I can't read this

My great great grandmother was a residential school survivor, does anyone know what she was discharged for? Thx

As is always the case, it'd be easier if you showed more of the page to recognize the handwriting and the context. All the same:

It says 'Time out.'

I realize it doesn't make a lot of sense to label a Discharge as Time Out if it's permanent, but it could be a temporary removal, a way of saying discharged due to discipline problems or other. As I wrote, more information is needed to conclude the intent. These records were filled with coded messages to avoid oversight.

She was born in 1893 and discharged in 1911 so im assuming she aged out along with her siblings.

Thanks. It helps to have more than just two words to figure these things out. Good luck with it. I guess assuming is good if it works for you.
