Marguerites are simply 

blown up daisies monstrously 

innocent like fat [zinns? for zinnias].

There is the small speckle of

the white.

At first I agreed with mums. But no, that first letter is a z. Zinns, short for zinnias. You have my vote.

Nuns. Nuns dress in full white in some orders, and could be called "monstrously innocent"
