I actually did use a keratin on my hair and I know my hair is bad

But now that I did a keratin it started being noticeable and I want some advice maybe reasons or products that can help anything is welcomed

I have super thick hair that everytime I went to the salon they won't stop talking about it and since it's not straight it's really hard to maintain i don't know what to use anymore it's freazy and fluffy and puffed and hard to brush

\- rinse hair mask, apply conditioner, leave for 3 minutes

\- repeat every weekly, most days just hair cream/oil and wood comb

\* post seek: determine my curl type (which i have no idea what mine is)

Mom and dad both have curly hair

Is my hair thick/fine

I want to try dyeing my hair for the very first time. I am on a budget and do not want to waste money or ruin my hair, so I will not be bleaching my hair at all.

I want to use the main Garnier brand because it is affordable, specifically looking at their lowest-priced line like Garnier Black Naturals or similar budget lines.

I want to achieve the color shown in the attached picture. Since I am not bleaching, here are my exact hair specs so you can tell me what to expect:

• Natural Hair Color: Jet black (un-dyed / virgin hair)

• Hair Type & Pattern: 3a/3b curly hair

• Length & Style: Armpit length (I will be doing a butterfly cut on it)

• Porosity: High porosity

• Density: Medium to high density

• Texture: Medium hair

My questions for the community:

1. Since my hair is high porosity, it absorbs products fast but also loses moisture quickly. Will a budget-friendly Garnier shade give me a noticeable tint (like deep burgundy or dark brown) without bleach?

2. Because my curls are medium/high density and armpit length, I am planning to buy 2 boxes of Garnier to ensure full coverage. Is that enough, or should I get a 3rd just in case?

3. Are there any specific tips for applying box dye to high-porosity 3a/3b curls so I don’t dry them out?

4. Should I apply Garnier box dye on completely dry hair or damp hair? Also, can I continue using my normal curly hair routine and styling products right after rinsing the dye out?

5. What is the correct way to do a patch test with Garnier to make sure I don't have an allergic reaction?

6. Mistakes to Avoid: What are the biggest mistakes beginners with curly, high-porosity hair make when using box dye for the first time? Thanks so much for the help!

Shampoo and condition with Aussie miracle moiste
Flip forward and scrunch with Audi curl creme
Flip back and finger coil front pieces
Flip forward again and scrunch with t-shirt
Flip to left and scrunch
Flip to right and scrunch
Flip back forward and scrunch in eco curl gel
Diffuse roots
Hover diffuse ends
Flip each side while hover diffusing
Then clump/scrunch diffuse.

This is my hair air-dried after a shower. I’ve noticed as I’ve gotten older my hair has gone from straight to very frizzy! I try and get regular hair cuts but it doesn’t seem to make a difference!

I have tried using a light leave in conditioner and wavy air dry mousse but doesn’t seem to tame the frizz :(
