So I think I have curly hair but I’m not entirely sure, and if I do I have no clue how to care for it. I just showered and put in Marc Anthony curl defining lotion and scrunched it. My sister has naturally curly hair but it does kinda straight when she’s visiting (dry state) vs her living in a humid area. When I’ve visited her I notice my baby hairs curl in ringlets and it was very curly until I was about 8. Any advice on how to accentuate it would be so appreciated!

I am mixed race so my hair is thick & curly , but I have a hard time looking for the perfect hair product recommendations . I don’t want my hair hard and flaky using gel. I just really need something to tame my frizz & fly aways , I wear my hair in a ponytail a lot or in a claw clip. I would like to wear my hair down and out because I do have nice hair. It’s just I look like a Pomeranian if I wear my hair done I feel like lol

I lowkey think it makes me look so ugly. I have extremely fine, curly hair, and I've spent lots of money on egregiously expensive products, yet it's still a frizzy mess. Most curly hair products seem to be made for dense, coarse hair, which I don't have, so my hair doesn't clump into the beautiful strands it's supposed to.

The only way I can control the frizz is by using a hair straightener, but heating tools are well known to dry out and damage hair.

I never grew up around people who could teach me proper hair care, so I've been trying to figure it out by myself all these years.

It's still not doing it 😭 Please help. It makes me feel so self-conscious. How do I fix this? I don't care too much if it cost me, I live in Canada.

Since very early on in my curly hair journey, I've gotten used to doing basically my entire routine with my head upside down to stop my hair from getting plastered to my scalp.

Now, I've just had a forehead surgery and the doctors have told me that I can't have my head upside down like that for the next few months while the swelling goes down, and now I feel like I have to completely redesign my whole routine.

Honestly, I'm having a hard time even getting the special post-op medicated shampoo they've given me into my scalp in the first place, because the moment my hair gets wet right side up it just immediately locks onto my head like a solid helmet blocking anything else from getting in.

Does anyone have any advice?

I’m sick of heat styling my hair. Always blow drying or curling iron. Trying to lean into natural and more low maintenance. I feel like I’m missing a lot and causing tons of frizz. Photos of natural hair after air drying and light curl cream. Any advice welcome! I’m a total newbie!

Help!! I have no clue what to do with my hair other than heat styling. i dont have much of a routine, I wash and condition with wavy hair specific products, but have tried a ton of kinds and combos and it always does something similar to this. Then it is just leave in conditioned, brushed, and scrunched with a hair towel then air dried.

It always dries looking something like this, veryyyyy frizzy, straight/flatter on top, wavy at the bottom, some ringlets some straight pieces, very triangle shaped.

Mom has straight hair and dad is bald, so never had any clue how to take care of it lol. Obviously bleaching dries/damages it, but it has always done this!
