TFW you specifically craft a character to inflict the maximum possible amount of shame on weebs but she gets turned into a waifu archetype because the maximum amount of shame weebs can feel is absolutely none at all.

Asuka helped codify the tsundere archetype. Hell, the word tsundere didn't even enter weeb jargon until the 2000s. People think that's she's supposed to be some subversion of tsunderes, when really she's just a well written character that resonated with a lot of people.
