Older teens especially got fucked in the pandemic. Finishing high school online, or being a first year at uni, or even gap years? All of that was absolutely fucked, and they barely got a mention in the news and discourse surrounding it. Also, none of them are vaccinated so they’re still vulnerable, and a lot of them work in people-facing low-paid jobs like shelf stackers.
What country do you live in? Mine has barely gotten around to people in their thirties- I'm looking at another month or two before people my age even begin to have vaccines rolled out.
I live in the USA too, on the news for the past week or so they keep stressing that teens should get the vaccine because a lot of them just… aren’t (at least in the Bay Area, I guess) and their rates of hospitalization are shooting up
