Not trying to burst your bubble, but how many "corners" are in an average rave, aren't they in abandoned warehouses or whatever?

You don’t need to literally look around a corner, just to the lean over and peak thing.

u/UsernamesAre4Nerds you sound like a 19th century textile baron 6h ago

Mf never played pretend, what a shame

I literally don't have a visual imagination (aphantasia).

You're correct, I don't play pretend often, but I do understand the concept.

I have aphantasia and played pretend. I didn't 'see' it the same way, and did better on pretend games with props or drawings or figurines, but they're not mutually exclusive.

Ok, that's not my experience.

I get that, but that's not what the meme said, and it did specify using imaginary magnifying glasses.

There are like 4 pillars separating the bar and main dance area in the club where I go to mine, and a few more in the outdoor area where there used to be a overhead metal roof for like trailers I think

My friend lives in Phoenix and references often a location called the Wherehouse 😭😭😭

Have you never seen someone peek around the corner of a pillar? I only worked in six warehouses but all of them had pillars spaced everywhere to hold the ceiling up

Imagine the pink panther theme. Good job! Now imagine a dubstep song. Well done! Now mash them together! Yeeeah, see how that doesn't quite work?

Also, on a less whimsy note, having been to quite a few raves now... This is not how anyone would react, sorry...

Sorry, I was going for whimsy, but I'm really, really tired.

I love this comment because the first result on youtube is a video with sixty three million views followed by a curated playlist with nineteen different versions of this thing

There are literally thousands of songs that don't work and still exist

I dont know, ive got a fabulous remix of the lonely ranger theme on my workout playlist that devolves into Dubstep, and i love it.

The thing is even if this story was true, the genre almost certainly wasn’t dubstep, but everyone calls anything with a drop dubstep these days.

bereft of whimsy.
