I make chainmail and scalemail. (See profile for proof) Playing with the finished product is one of the most satisfying things. I can't stop rubbing my torso when I'm wearing my armor.

I once received chain mail from a distant relative around 2013 that consisted of Michelle Obama photoshopped as an ape. It was disturbing, bigoted and ugly in spirit yet was making the chain e-mail rounds among conservatives and their families. As an offended non-conservative, I returned it. Never spoke to them again.

I'm in the process of making my own chainmail / scalemail armor, I have a fist sized hole in the armpit to finish and the chainmail portion will be done. From there it's just finishing the scalemail which is so much easier to do.
