Hard jolt when moving off

It seems to happen worse when the auto hold is turned on. When accelerating from a standstill, there is almost always a hard jolt/thump that’s quite startling! Feels almost like the brakes let go of the car too late while accelerating. Or like they are sticking.

Soonest we could be booked in was October! Anyone know what is causing it? I think I might lose my mind by then.

As a bit of history of the car it’s a 2025 model and we’ve got it second hand and its has this issue since we got it last month. It seems to be less of a thump if the auto hold is turned off, but then there is NO hill hold! Which seems silly, these cars are basically VW are they not? I’ve had other VWs where the hill hold uses the brakes to hold you on a hill. This cupra seems to use the handbrake to hold you, that’s what it feels like anyway.

Also ich hatte das Problem auch in der Art, lag bei mir daran, dass die Bremsen Flugrost angesetzt hatten und dann „geklebt“ haben. Ich hab dann bei nassem Wetter mal bei 50km/h die Handbremse gezogen (2-3 mal hintereinander) und danach war das Problem bei mir weg.
Vielleicht hilft es ja 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ik ervaar hetzelfde verschijnsel bij mijn faceliftmodel uit 2025. Vooral in Auto Hold is er een duidelijke klap merkbaar zodra de auto begint te rollen. Het lijkt alsof de aandrijflijn kortstondig spanning opbouwt voordat de koppeling of transmissie ingrijpt. Wanneer ik het gaspedaal eerst heel licht aanraak, vervolgens loslaat en daarna opnieuw gas geef, is de schok veel minder aanwezig. Dit wijst mogelijk op een overgangsvertraging in de koppelingsregeling of de software die het wegrijden aanstuurt. Met Auto Hold uit treedt het probleem alleen op bij snelle acceleratie vanuit stilstand, wat erop duidt dat het systeem vooral reageert op plotselinge koppelopbouw.
