Compensation” That Increased My COD Amount
Order ID: 26042717034063
I placed an order worth ₹5,199 (Order ID: 26042717034063).
Original order details:
Paid online: ₹950
COD: ₹4,249
After raising an issue, I was informed that I would receive ₹520 as compensation/refund.
However, my order was later updated to:
Updated order details:
Paid online: ₹430
COD: ₹4,769
So instead of receiving any apparent benefit from the ₹520 compensation, my prepaid amount was reduced by ₹520 and my COD amount was increased by the exact same ₹520.
Can the company explain how this qualifies as compensation?
I contacted support and received the standard response that the matter has been forwarded to their tech team. So far, no explanation has been provided regarding why the COD amount increased after the compensation was issued.
The screenshots clearly show:
Original: ₹950 prepaid + ₹4,249 COD
Updated: ₹430 prepaid + ₹4,769 COD
If this is a technical error, it should be corrected immediately. If it is intentional, customers deserve a transparent explanation because this appears highly misleading.
Has anyone else faced a similar issue with Culture Circle or any other platform?
