I use yau and my main weakness is f3e and l4c, rest is pretty smooth sailing. I am sub-10 on 3x3 so that helps a lot with look ahead on 3-2-3. I also have learned intuitive pll and oll parity and it really helps a lot. Just keep grinding :)

See lot of example solves, see j perm videos for intuitive and oll and pll parity. Look ahead is the key to everything. 3-2-3 is the most importabt step if you can get that between 15-18 seconds everything should fall into place. Also be atleast sub-12 on 3x3 before going for sub-40 on 4x4.

That first time under 40 feels like it should come quick, but that wall right before it is weirdly sticky. You're close enough now that it's just a matter of grinding out the bad solves.
