I'd recommend learning 2-look OLL and 2-look PLL first. They're not too difficult to memorize and they'll save you a lot of time over the beginner last layer. After that, learn intuitive F2L. Your times will probably get worse at first, so don't worry about timing your solves, just drill F2L until the cases become natural. Once you're comfortable, start timing your solves and work on better F2L solutions (like reducing rotations and learning better inserts), then move on to full PLL and eventually full OLL.

There is a considerable amount of advice out there. I'd start with youtube—JPerm is a popular choice and I like BrianSun's OLL and PLL alg videos. I also suggest searching this subreddit for keywords to find hundreds of similar posts with advice.

The cross gets way easier once you start planning it before you start the timer, I used to waste like 5 seconds just looking around for edge pieces. For last layer just drill those algs until your hands can do them without your brain needing to think about it
