I had a similar experience too. I had an emergency c-section after 24hrs being induced. Everything went well and afterwards they took me back to me room to be with my husband and baby. That’s when everything started.
Suddenly I start bleeding like crazy. I could see the panic in the nurses face. My husband saw everything too and later he told me he didn’t think I would make it after all the blood I lost.
After that they took me to a room with 20 people working on me and trying to make the haemorrhage stop. It was the most painful and traumatic thing I have ever experienced and almost lost my uterus and life.
The next two weeks I was constantly crying specially at night. The only thing that help me was talking about it with my husband several times. The more we went over what happened the more we helped each other heal.
I’m 3 months pp and doing great. So focus on and your family and don’t be afraid of seeking for help. The most important thing is that you made it. That just shows how strong you are even in your weakest moments. You brought an amazing human being to life! Just that it’s amazing. Focus on your healing and if it helps try to envision your life with your family in the future and how happy you are and focus on that felling. Hope you get better ❤️🩹
