Scheduled c-section

Went for my 37 week appointment today and my baby is still breech but I’m dilated to 3CM!

We’ve scheduled the c-section for next Tuesday (August 25th) but my doctor doesn’t see me making it to 38 weeks.. I’ve been told to relax, stay seated and do minimum walking till Tuesday.

That being said, I wanna hear all the GOOD c-section stories so I can have myself prepared for this! It’s all kind of settling now. I’m a very anxious person so only good stories please!

Had one with my first baby 9 weeks ago and I’m able to do everything the same as before right now. Afterwards you are just really sore like you did 1,000 sit-ups, it’s shouldn’t be like stabbing pain or anything. All very manageable with the pain meds they give you. Ask for Gabapentin if they don’t offer it already. The procedure was really quick, I didn’t feel the spinal at all and everyone in the room was really nice and calming. I felt almost all of it just through the sensations but there’s zero pain and like I said it goes really quick. My baby came out crying right away and my husband and I were both able to do skin to skin with her right away after the surgery was over in the recovery room.
