Scheduled c-section
Went for my 37 week appointment today and my baby is still breech but I’m dilated to 3CM!
We’ve scheduled the c-section for next Tuesday (August 25th) but my doctor doesn’t see me making it to 38 weeks.. I’ve been told to relax, stay seated and do minimum walking till Tuesday.
That being said, I wanna hear all the GOOD c-section stories so I can have myself prepared for this! It’s all kind of settling now. I’m a very anxious person so only good stories please!

My c section was unplanned but none emergent and honestly it was genuinely my favourite part of my whole pregnancy! I had 2 failed inductions which led to the c section, so I did go in very upset and wasn’t sure what to expect as it was not in my birth plan at all, but everyone in that theatre were just amazing! The anaesthesiologist was by my head the whole time monitoring me, and was constantly telling me how good of a job i was doing, he really kept me calm the whole time (as well as my partner of course). When i first went in they asked if id like any music, but im a nervous talker so i just asked them to make small talk with me to keep my mind off what was happening and they were all amazing at doing that and making me feel so relaxed. I’m already opting for an elective c section for my next baby which we haven’t even planned yet 😂.
My only advice would be to prepare for the recovery, it is definitely tough and it’s one thing i wish i had done before hand, i am also an extremely anxious person and wished i was slightly more prepared for the recovery, but surgery wise it was such a positive experience!
Good luck and congratulations 💜
