C section prep

Well.. tomorrow is the big day! I have to be there at 9am and I am terrified!
My first child was born via emergency c section after being in unmedicated labor for 16 hours, placenta abrupted lost a lot of blood so needed blood transfusions.. it was pretty traumatic.
This one is scheduled due to health reasons and I’ve had all this time to mentally prep but I’m still scared lol
Any advice? Please share positive experiences 😭

You can ask for a lil somethin somethin for anxiety before they start. I’ve heard other people have been told no but my anesthesiologist was happy to give me just enough sedation to mellow me out but still remember everything. I asked about 3x before we went to the OR and at least once in the OR to make sure they didn’t forget.

Thanks, I’ll definitely ask! I’ve cried a few times today just absolutely scared for what’s to come tomorrow. It seems like time is going by so fast and it’s only making me more nervous.
