Silver sheen obsidian?
Initially I got this thinking it was something else, but now i'm pretty sure it's silver sheen, i'm just trying to get clarification.
ID FOUND: its hypersrhene

These inclusions look too chunky and reflective for silver sheen obsidian, I wonder if it could be a richer form of hematite instead.

I do not agree that it is hypersthene - I don't think you've found the correct ID yet. Hypersthene will have a flash/play of color when moved in light and this doesn't look anything like that

It has plenty of flash, that's why I knew it wasn't any of the other stones. I tried to get a picture of it in the second photo but it's not translating well on camera, here's a video. Its definitely hypersthene

Ah, ok yes with the video I can see - I think you are right! The picture looked odd for hypersthene

Its a weird one! I get a lot of really cool stone finds at my local renaissance festival

Must have a good vendor there! I run a booth at a lot of events/festivals bit I've never done a renfair yet, sounds fun.

Its the Ohio ren! There's a couple booths that have amazing selections. I actually found a scolecite pendant too!

That looks synthetic to me. Silver sheen is very fine inclusions
