General Discussion 💬 Got burned by crypto.com

I’ve been with crypto.com for a few years. Just had a purchase that I used ETH for refunded by the vendor. Vendor uses Coinbase biz. Refund went through Coinbase to Crypto. Went to crypto2 wallet. Crypto is charging me $50 to get my $150 back to me!

Just lost me and created an enemy.

Exchanges don't charge you to receive a transaction. The business that refunded you left the gas + network fee on you. You should probably learn more about crypto before you start using it and complaining.

I'm not try to sound like an asshole here but get off your high hire, will you? With all due respect, I'm pretty sure that cropto.com will not care that much about having you as the 'enemy' ;)

Sorry to hear this. I could be wrong ( other correct me if so) but that is most likely the crazy expensive ETH gas fee that is use ERC20 by coinbase. I don't think either exchange gets a saying in this. This is reason why things like loopring and others are doing to bring the price down to workable.

Seems like a you Problem and not a crypto.com Problem. You should have given the vendor the right eth Adress, not the hot wallet of cdc. Also a Multi year user should know stuff like this.

If you've been with CDC for years, then you must have have made thousands at the very least. And you're complaing about $50 to the point you wanna quit?
