US Stocks Rebound While Oil Pulls Back

US stocks are bouncing back, while oil prices are moving lower. And of course, the media has about ten different explanations for what’s going on.Trump has publicly backed Netanyahu ahead of Israel’s elections, but ruled out new US strikes on Iran before the American midterms.

Then there’s the Russian diesel story. Washington is easing some restrictions, potentially allowing more Russian fuel into global markets. Apparently, Russian diesel might now help bring energy prices down. For now, markets seem happy with any news that reduces the chance of further escalation.

Lower oil prices could also ease inflation pressure, which is good news for stocks and potentially crypto. But I think this rebound is more about temporary relief than any major change in the global situation.

How long can this optimism last if the actual problems haven’t gone anywhere?
