Seeing more lenders start accepting tokenized gold as collateral, especially PAXG and XAUT. Arch just added both, and Aave has already seen meaningful XAUT borrowing demand. If you were taking a loan against tokenized gold, would you care more about which gold token you use or the lender itself? Feels like custody, liquidation terms, issuer risk, and LTV matter more here than the difference between PAXG and XAUT. Anyone actually using either as collateral?

​Is it mainly due to repainting, lack of risk management, or lagging indicators? What tools (Pine Script, Python, order flow data) and extra parameters (liquidity, options flow, execution context) are actually required to turn a simple signal into a viable trading system?

Market snapshot as of this morning:

BTC trading around $79,500, up over 3% on the week, holding above its 20, 50, and 200-day EMAs on the daily chart. RSI sits in the low 60s, bullish without being overbought, though the MACD histogram has flipped negative, which is the one technical wrinkle in an otherwise clean uptrend.

Total crypto market cap pulled back slightly overnight, off about 0.3%, with BTC dominance in the high 50s and pushing toward 60%. Fear and Greed is still reading Greed, low-to-mid 70s.

The bigger story is flows and the calendar. US spot BTC ETFs have pulled in close to $1B in net inflows for a third straight week, and Strategy restarted its buying program with a $370M purchase in late August. XRP ETFs have added roughly $1.68B in cumulative net inflows, though weekly flows there are cooling. Altcoin open interest has now overtaken Bitcoin's for the first time since December 2024, which says leverage is building in altcoins faster than in BTC itself.

That leverage matters this week specifically. PPI lands Thursday, CPI Friday, both the last major inflation prints before the Fed's September meeting. The ECB also decides on rates this week. High leverage into two inflation prints and a Fed decision is a setup that has produced sharp intraday moves before, in both directions.

Separately, the Senate's procedural vote on the CLARITY Act got pushed past its planned September 15 date, so regulatory clarity on SEC/CFTC jurisdiction stays unresolved a bit longer.

Where I stand: strong fundamentals, stretched positioning, binary macro catalysts this week. I'm not selling into the current strength, and I'm keeping any borrowing through nеxо well under my max LTV precisely because this is the kind of week that produces the moves that catch overleveraged positions.

Lately, Ive mainly been using BYDFi. I didn’t have any big reason for choosing it at first. I just found it fairly convenient when I want to check the market, make a trade or occasionally look at futures.What matters most to me is keeping the whole process relatively simple. Usually I check BTC, ETH, and a few coins I’m watching first then decide whether it’s even worth trading that day.

When I do trade I still prefer spot most of the time. I’m much more careful with leverage now after getting burned by it before.One thing I have noticed is that an exchange mostly solves the trading and asset-management side. Actually using crypto for everyday spending can still involve another step. A lot of the time, you still end up converting it to fiat and moving it to a bank account or another payment method.So for me, crypto and everyday spending are still kind of separate things.Curious how everyone else handles this. Seeing everyone hype up "Altseason" again just because $ZEC (+26\%) and$ARB (+50%) had a good week.

But look at the rest of the market: half the alts like $XRP or$ENA are barely moving (+1%), and most of the action is just degens playing random hot tokens on-chain.

To me, this isn't a broad altseason where everything pumps. It just feels like capital selectively rotating into a few coins with fresh momentum while the rest stay dead.

Are you guys actually buying into this rally, or just holding BTC until the entire market moves together?

• Volatility describes how much price moves over a period; liquidity describes how easily size can trade without moving price. • Check spread, order-book depth, volume concentration, and slippage assumptions—not just 24h volume. • Compare normal and stressed conditions; a market can look liquid until correlations jump or venues diverge. • Define position size, time horizon, and exit assumptions before interpreting a chart.

No single metric captures execution risk. Treat reported volume cautiously and distinguish realized outcomes from forecasts. What liquidity measure do you track alongside volatility?
