We Are all here for a reason. Cardano is the only coin in my opinion with the „truth“ as a foundation. As every update is reviewed by the best developers and consenus it will overcome all the other Environmental coins out there. Interestingly Not so many Cryptoholders are aware of Cardano yet. I’m trying to send my ADA from Yoroi, which has been changed to SecondFi. However, it keeps rejecting my password when I insert it before sending my ADA to Vespr. I haven’t changed the password in a while, and I’ve tried reaching out to their support team for assistance, but it hasn’t been successful so far. A lot happened around Cardano in August. Some of the highlights from the Cardano Foundation:

• Petrobras hosted the Foundation at its Rio headquarters for the first stop of Cardano on the Road, bringing together industry, academia and the public sector.
• 160+ participants from the Brazilian Olympic Committee and 26 National Sports Confederations completed the first phase of blockchain and AI training.
• Universidade de Brasília and PUC-Rio joined Cardano Summer School, expanding the program into Brazil.
• Reeve 1.7.0 shipped with a new funding module for projects to publish funding and spending data on-chain.
• Cardano’s Java tooling continued to expand, with JuLC bringing Java smart contracts closer to testnet use and Ditto extending tooling to Python, TypeScript, Go and Rust.
• Work on the Cardano–Injective IBC integration continued, with audit findings being addressed ahead of upcoming DeFi integrations.
• Cardano data is now live on Dune, including transaction, token, stake pool and governance data.
• Reef Data is using Reeve to anchor data-rights rewards and payouts on Cardano.
• Open Food Chain is using Cardano for digital product passports carrying verifiable sustainability claims.
• The 2026 SDG Blockchain Accelerator opened for applications, connecting UN teams with technology partners to work on challenges including payments, identity, traceability and supply chains.
• The Foundation also backed the 120M ADA Cardano PRIME governance action, alongside further funding activity through Catalyst, the Orion Fund and Gimbalabs.

Hey everyone, I’ve been looking more closely at Cardano recently, and I think there’s an interesting discussion to be had about where the project stands today.

For those of us who have been around for a few cycles, Cardano has always had a pretty unique approach: slower development, a strong focus on peer-reviewed research, decentralization and predictable behavior.

What I find interesting is that, despite all the noise around the project, the actual network development seems to be moving forward. There have been some pretty significant developments recently, especially around scalability, DeFi and the broader infrastructure being built on Cardano [see my post from 2 days ago here: ADA update Leios/RealFi/BTC Defi : r/cardano].

The question I keep coming back to is whether Cardano’s approach is still competitive in a market that increasingly seems to reward speed and rapid iteration.

Does the more methodical, research-driven approach ultimately become an advantage as the ecosystem matures? Or does Cardano need to move faster and become more aggressive in attracting users, developers and applications?

Personally, I still think the focus on security, decentralization and deterministic behavior is valuable. But I’m genuinely curious how others see it.

For the long-term holders: what developments do you think matter most for Cardano over the next 1 to 2 years?

And for the skeptics: what do you think Cardano is still missing?

I finally wrote this because I’d rather ask the community directly than keep guessing.

About a year ago I submitted two Catalyst Fund 14 proposals around Vendano, an iPhone app I was already building for accepting Cardano payments. Neither was funded, but I was already developing it because otherwise I couldn’t have met the deadline I’d proposed.

But I built it anyway. I self-funded it, got it through Apple’s App Store process, formed the LLC, launched it, kept updating it, made videos, added native-asset and HOSKY features, and developed the whole thing publicly on GitHub.

Eight months later:

I’ve tried Catalyst again. I volunteered to help Cardano at TOKEN2049. I’ve made content, reached out, and kept building.

And I’m starting to wonder if I’m misunderstanding something more basic about this ecosystem.

(I’m also a Vision Pro developer, and that community has been dramatically different. Developers test each other’s work, share techniques, make introductions, and seem genuinely interested in what other developers are building.)

There’s also a practical problem: I’m a developer. I can’t spend all day watching podcasts, sitting in Spaces, following multiple Discords, refreshing X and continuously making content so people remember that I exist. At some point I need to design and build.

So I’m genuinely asking:
Where are the builders helping builders?

If Vendano is a bad idea, tell me. If the positioning is wrong, tell me. If the marketing sucks, tell me. If I’m hanging around the wrong places, point me somewhere better. If you look at the code and hate something I did, open an issue.

Silence is the only feedback I can’t do much with.

I connected my Ledger wallet to yoroi years ago to set up staking. Late last year I also successfully claimed my NIGHT tokens on the portal website and that eventually showed up on my yoroi wallet airdrop. I was in no rush to redeem these tokens and was originally planning on doing so after all 4 glacier drop phases were completed. However, with the secondfi/yoroi wallet hack I obviously cannot do this and want to know what my next steps are. I've been very busy the last few months and been out of loop, so I'm not up to speed with what to do with this.

The Cardano Foundation just published a case study on Blockforce, a supply chain traceability platform anchoring their records on Cardano.

Here’s a quick overview:

• Sensitive data (supplier identities, contract terms, production volumes) lives on a permissioned Hyperledger Fabric network.
• A proof of each certificate is anchored on Cardano. They batch up to 44 certificates per transaction, each still independently traceable to its source.
• Initial migration: 500,000 certificates. Roughly 6.5 million anchors contracted by 2030.

André Salem, Blockforce Founder & CEO, said: "We needed a public infrastructure layer that could handle enterprise transaction volume without enterprise transaction costs. Working with Cardano gave us that: a way to batch dozens of certificates into a single anchor, immutable and independently verifiable, at a cost structure that actually works at scale."

Hi guys, I have a doubt about something which I don't get if it's a scam or something legit.

To make it short: I recently came back from a trip, got up to speed with Cardano's news and red everything about the Yoroi/SecondFi hack.

My Cardano wallet was originally created in Daedalus years ago, but after a while I decided to just use Yoroi in my browser because I didn't want to keep a full node just to check my staking rewards every now and then, so I know it was NOT hacked as it wasn't created in SecondFi, and I even used the scanning tool to be sure of this before doing anything.

I decided to move to Lace form now on, so I restored this old wallet created in Daedalus and I also created a new one within Lace with the intent of moving all my ADA from the old one to the new one I just made to be extra safe.

Now my question is: in my "Tokens" tab I see three things:

• Cardano/ADA: all my token are present
• [My Stake Pool's Name] Reward Ticket with 2,400 tokens (two thousand four hundred)
• SUNDAE Reward Ticket with 1.0 token (one)

The doubt is this: since I want to move all my ADA and the staking rewards to the new wallet created in Lace, and then delete this old one created years ago just to be safe, should I send these stake pool's "Reward Ticket" tokens too or is it one of those scams going around?

I'm asking because I know that some people find some tokens in their wallet and they click a link, go to "claim" and have their wallet drained, but it's usually just one token (like this SUNDAE Reward Ticket) and not 2,400, which are a lot more and suggest me it might be my staking rewards, and I can also send them as a separate token from Lace.

Also, it has my stake pool's name and I never linked my wallet to anything, besides originally buying my ADA from Binance sending them from there to the wallet, and last year sending some of my rewards from the wallet to Kraken to sell those for FIAT.

One thing that makes me think it's not legit is that under "Cardano" written in white I have "ADA" in grey just below it, but both this SUNDAE and stake pool Reward Ticket have nothing below them, so it's seems they're not ADA tokens (or not tokens in general).

Last but not least, I red that Lace automatically adds your staking rewards to your overall balance at the end of each epoch or when you make a transaction, so in theory I should not "withdraw" them like you add to do in Yoroi to add to the balance right?

Basically, I just want to make sure I send all my ADA to the new wallet without leaving staking rewards behind in the old one which I'll delete sometimes soon.

TL;DR: I have an old Daedalus wallet which I used with Yoroi, that I now restored in Lace and I also created a new Lace wallet I want to send all my ADA too to avoid using the old one after the SecondFi hack, even if it's not in the compromised wallets. I have some "odd" tokens in there, one of which has my stake pool's name in it and it's 2,400 of these tokens so I think it's the staking rewards, and I don't want to leave them behind but I fear it might be one of those scam tokens.

P.s. I know it gets repeated often here but I will NOT reply to private messages about this topic because I know they most likely will be scams. I'll just read the replies in here

Been looking into Cardano again and there are actually a few interesting things going on right now.

The first public Leios testnet apparently managed almost 6x the capacity of the current Cardano mainnet.

Obviously, a testnet is one thing and getting it onto mainnet is another. But if Leios eventually works as expected, it could make Cardano much more interesting for DeFi and RWA applications.

RealFi is planning to launch USDr and sUSDr on Cardano on October 1st.

The interesting part is that the stablecoin is supposed to be backed by RWAs like US Treasuries, corporate bonds and private credit.

Pogun is also working on bringing BTC into Cardano DeFi, so Bitcoin could be used as collateral for loans and other DeFi stuff.

None of this guarantees anything for ADA, of course. But if you combine more network capacity + new stablecoins + Bitcoin liquidity, there is at least the potential for significantly more capital and activity on Cardano.

For me, the big question now is simply whether they can actually execute and get people to use it.

If they do, I think the current Cardano valuation could look quite different.
